#186--Make it Punny

Oops--with the Holiday Monday, I felt it was Tuesday all day today, so I TOTALLY forgot to post for this week's new challenge over at Little Red Wagon, so pardon my delay.

This week, Jan has asked us to use a "punny" sentiment.

Here's my pun:

Hope you can share your "punny" sentiments with us!
Check out what the rest of the DT came up with.

Thanks 4 your time!

LRW #185 - Doily

Quick post today--very busy week!
The challenge over at Little Red Wagon this week is -- USE A DOILY!

Ack--no traditional doilies in my wagon!! But I found this card where I used a My Favorite Things Dizzy Doily die cut.

Hope you can join us this week!
Have a great day!

Thanks 4 your time!

LRW #184 - All About MOM!

With Mother's Day being celebrated this coming Sunday here in Canada, Carolyn has selected a perfect challenge this week at Little Red Wagon

ALL ABOUT MOM -- create a Mother's Day project.

Here's the card I created for my momma!
[No worries--she's not a computer gal, so she's doesn't read my blog]

[I just realized when my photo came up that 2 of the pearls I added to the centre of my flower went MIA between my craft table and my photo spot under the large window in our family room--OOPS]

I'm sure many of you will be creating Mother's Day cards this week, so be sure to link them up to our challenge over at LRW!
First, of course, check out what the rest of the girlfriends created.

Thanks 4 your time!

LRW #183 - "Stick" it!

Happy Wednesday all!  Jayne has an interesting challenge for us over at Little Red Wagon this week:
Use a lollipop stick or toothpick!

I didn't have any lollipop sticks, so I went for the toothpick.  However, the sweet lollipop candy idea did "stick" with me (haha)
I added some Glossy Accents to the candy jar to make it glass-like.

Hope you can join us this week.  Check out what the other girlfriends made first, then link up your project to the LRW blog!

Thanks 4 your time!

LRW #182 - Crimp My Style

Wowzas!  Wednesday again already!  Where the time goes . . . I'll never know!

This week, Rosanne has challenged us to dig deep into our wagons to pull out our crimpers!
That's right!!  It's called Crimp My Style!
We want to see some crimped paper (or anything crimped, I guess).

This was a super fast card to make:

Join us this week!  Check out how the rest of the DT added crimping to their projects, and then link up your crimped creation at the LRW blog here.

Thanks 4 your time!

LRW #181 - Cameo

This week at Little Red Wagon . . .

Regan is challenging us to use a CAMEO on our project.

This is what I came up with:
Guess I was still feelin' the lace from the last challenge!

Hope you can join us this week!
Check out what the rest of the DT created for some  inspiration.

Thanks 4 your time!

LRW #180 - Lovely Lace

Happy Wednesday!  I'm hosting this week over at Little Red Wagon,

and I'm calling  it  . . .

LOVELY LACE
I'm asking you to feature lace on your project (image on paper, stamp, actual lace . . )

I didn't go for traditional lace, but went for this lace-y brocade I had deep in my wagon.

Be sure to check out what the rest of DT Team has created,
then link up your project one the LRW site!

Thanks 4 your time!

LRW #179 - Be A Negative Nellie

April already!  Despite the challenge title today, I'm entering April with positivity, even if it is so bloody cold out there still.  I'm in serious need of warmer weather!

This week at Little Red Wagon, Jan has challenged us to . . .

Be A Negative Nellie - use the negative of a die cut

I always love the look of negative die cuts on cards, but I will admit I don't do it often enough.
Here's what I came up with:
It's for a boy's Confirmation

Hope you have some time to play along with us this week!
Check out what the rest of the DT did with NEGATIVES,
then link up your project here.

Thanks 4 your time!

LRW#178-Think Spring Colour Challenge

[Yikes!  I thought I had this post scheduled for today, and then just noticed I had clicked on tomorrow's date--oops!  Sorry--another busy week for me!]

Any way, Joanne has given us a yummy colour palette to play with this week at Little Red Wagon

I will admit, I got really stumped.
Colouring my large hydrangea was the easy part, but then I had the hardest time deciding how to incorporate some of the other colours.  I don't think I've ever swapped out so many different card bases, mounting, embellishments in my creative career until I finally settled on this.  I had to walk away 100 a couple of times!!

The perseverance paid off though--I'm quite happy with the final project
(ahem--despite the minor glaring error--can you spot it?).

So, I challenge you to take the "challenge" -- you'll be glad you did!
Think Spring with this yummy inspiration photo;
then link up your project to the LRW blog here,
but only after you've stopped by the rest of the DT's blogs, of course, to see what they've created.

Thanks 4 your time!

LRW #177-Easter

Jayne is hosting her first challenge today over at Little Red Wagon (WooHoo Jayne!!)

She's going easy on us; the theme is EASTER

Luckily, I just made this card Monday to share with a Parenting class yesterday.
My co-worker asked me to come in and lead her 12 female students in creating an Easter Card
(I do work at a Catholic school)

I made this card as a model, and taught the girls each step.
They had a great time!  I brought a couple of my scrapbooks in to show them how I record my memories of and for my children.

Hope you can join us this week!  Check out what the rest of the DT created, and then link up your EASTER project here.

Thanks 4 your time!
