LRW #124 - Lucky You!

SO enjoying this weather we're having here in SW Ontario!! Lovin' even more that I'm off this week for March Break!!!

It's Wednesday already; which means it's time for another challenge from Little Red Wagon!
This week, Joanne has challenged us with Lucky You -- in the spirit of St. Patrick's Day this weekend, create a project with a good luck symbol on it.

I'm "lucky" (pun intended), to have a niece born on St. Patrick's day, so in making her card, this challenged worked perfectly.  I used a heart stamp to create my shamrock.  It looked too plain, so I glittered it up!
The card base has some texture with a delicate floral impression plate--but you can't see it in the photo

Got the card; now the only problem is figuring out what to get my 12 year old niece!!  eeshh!

Hope you can play along this week!  Check out the blog to see the lovely projects the other LRW DT gals have created!!

Thanks 4 your time!

  1. Oh, another St. Patty's Day baby!! This is a fabulous card for her...12 years old? I know it's not creative, but a gift card to her fav store? I've started giving my 10 niece and nephew (twins) GCs to Chapters and they LOVE picking out their own books or activities there :) Just a thought :) LOVE that sparkly blinged out Shamrock. We are still in session...Spring Break starts Friday, which is perfect for the birthday :) Bill 22 should go through forcing a contract on us and making it illegal to strike. But we've got the unions on our side and we are up for fight with this government. Sad times for our classes, though. Enjoy the rest of your vacation!! Isn't it lovely?
