LRW#123 -- Weaving

Happy Wednesday!  This week's challenge at Little Red Wagon is from Dee:

Do some weaving--paper, ribbon, or whatever else you can think of weaving for your project.

I have to admit, I cursed Dee a few times in my attempt at a project.  I won't torture you with my "rejects"--gawd, they were awful!!  Eventually, after many failed attempts, I ended up with one that I wouldn't be too embarrassed to post. In fact, I'm pretty pleased with it--although it took me way too long to make.  The challenge definitely put me outside of my comfort zone--but that's what challenges are all about, right?!

So here's my card with some ribbon "weaving"

Be sure to check out the fabulous weaving projects from the other LRW Girlfriends (links in my sidebar).  They obviously weren't as stumped as I was.  In fact, I'm sure all of you could create some fantastic weaving projects--so be sure to play along with us!!

Thanks 4 your time!

  5. Tammy! This is amazing!! LOVE those delicious coloured ribbons! Well worth the struggles!! Love the bit of bling too! Hope all is well :) We are on the last day of our 3 day "legal" strike. The government is passing Bill 22 soon to force our job action to stop without negotiating a contract...sad times in BC right now.
