No this is not an April Fool's Day joke! I'm sending you my Easter Wishes because I'll likely not have a chance to do so next weekend.
I had the chance to go into one of the Parenting classes at my school and do a little card-making workshop with them. Papercrafting is a great activity for kids, and teenagers get so quiet when they get a chance to colour (seriously--it's bizarre).
Any way, I made this card and little basket. The students loved making them, and even embellished their's with some pearls (teens love the bling!).
I coloured my eggs with Copics; however, I didn't bring my markers to school. The students just used some good-ol' pencil crayons. I forgot to take my camera to school to get some shots of them creating (I likely wouldn't have been able to post any--privacy issues, of course).
Here's a close-up. I popped up one of the eggs for some dimension.
Be sure to pop by here on Wednesday for my Little Red Wagon post. If you haven't had the chance to play along with my Clouds challenge this week, run on over there and check out the details!
Thanks 4 your time!

ReplyDeleteTammy, I really like how you coloured this. I think you are so right about crafting; there is such satisfaction to be obtained from creating something and kids are no different!
ReplyDeleteVery nice! It is amazing how quiet kids can get when they craft....it happens to me too :)
