Rosanne is hosting this week's Lil' Red Wagon challenge -- Pockets!
I had never really tried a pocket on my cards (or layouts) before (at least, I can't remember if I have).
Any way, I went rather literally with a pocket by creating a back pocket-type shape and double stitched the edges along my embossed card base.
Since I chose this masculine colour scheme (papers from Authentique's Loyal collection),
I decided to make this a Father's Day card.
If I had a pencil or pen stamp, I would've loved to fussy-cut it and place it in the pocket too :)
Hope you can join us gals by putting a pocket on your project and then link it up to our LRW site by next week! Be sure to check out the pockets the rest of the design team came up with if you're looking for some inspiration!!I had never really tried a pocket on my cards (or layouts) before (at least, I can't remember if I have).

ReplyDeleteOh nice masculine card! These can be hard.
ReplyDeleteLovely! I am loving the idea of a card that is actually a pocket! Very nice choice of sentiment too.
