Curtain Call CC--Act 15

I LOVE colour challenges because they compel me to use colours I never would have thought of pairing on my own, and I use them as a further challenge to rumage through my stash of scraps to match up the colours as closely as possible.  When I saw this floral image that inspired Curtain Call's Act 15 colour challenge, I had to include a flower on my card too:

I happened to look up and see this fake flower in an arrangement on the shelf near my craft table . . .

. . . and I figured, 'Why  not use it on a card?'  So I took it apart (to flatten it a tad) and used a brad to re-attach it.  I found this great button in my stash too!

Card base looks more yellow in the photo, but is much more orange IRL.

I know the colour challenge calls for WHITE, but since the flower I chose had a more creamy tint, I stuck with it for the sentiment strip too.  CREAM is a shade of WHITE right?  Leaf punch is EK Success.

That's it for tonight--gonna go finish watching the Grammys--Michael Jackson tribute on right now--pretty great!
Thanks 4 your time!
