EBTKS Sketch #3 Challenge

Okay, so the current EBTKS Sketch Challenge stumped me for a while.  I came up with one card, but I am not very happy with it (I tried to move out of my comfort zone . . . and let's just say I prefer my comfort zone).  Soooo . . .  I made another card that's more my style, I think.  Regardless, I'm posting both.

Here's the sketch (I rotated the sketch for each of my cards):

Here's the first card I made and am not so happy with (Sympathy card):

I used some coordinating patterned paper from a pack I got last spring (lost the cover page, so can't remember the company).  I added some Stickles (which I've never really used) to the waves; here's a closer look:

Then, I wanted to make a happier card and I got to play with my new Martha Stewart pattern stamps!  This is SO much more my style and took less time to make:

Supplies: Studio G sentiment; SU! Chocolate Chip ink; American Crafts patterned paper (cut out flowers); Darice jewels.

Thanks 4 your time!

  1. Oh, Tammy. I know what you mean about that comfy zone. I'm all for comfortable! That said, I think you stepped out of yours quite successfully. The sympathy card is really nice. I do love the other card, though. (I think my comfort zone and yours must be next door neighbors... :) )
